Born shoes Ll Bean
If you aren’t happy with the weight you’ve gained during your pregnancy, don’t worry. You can lose that weight quickly and easily as long as you know what to do. You might be thinking that you won’t be able to exercise because your baby is so young that he needs you close by all the time. However, your baby likely naps often. If you make sure to workout while your baby is napping, you won’t have to wait long to see good results. Here are three things that you can do while your baby is sleeping that will keep you energetic and feeling your best.
Drawing In: This exercise is great for women who have just given birth because, in addition to helping you lose weight, it will make your back, abs and core stronger which will help you regain your posture as well as increasing your metabolism. Position yourself on all fours with your hands directly underneath your shoulders. Then you pull in your abs while taking care to keep your neck and spine in a line. Breathe in through your nostrils while you keep your back straight and then, while pulling your navel up into your spine (while keeping the spine still) breathe back out. Do this twelve times and then do three sets of twelve to really work out your abs and your core.
The Super Crunch: This exercise should be included as part of every post-birth workout. For this specific exercise, lie down on the floor, bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor. Put your hands behind your head, breathe in and out and, while holding your abs in, lift your shoulders and head off of the floor. Hold that position while you also lift your knees until they are touching your elbows while you also lift your hips up slightly off of the ground. Slowly put your body back into its beginning position. Do three sets of twelve to twenty to get your abs into the best shape you’ve ever seen while losing weight really quickly.
air Bike: In this exercise you lay down on the floor on your back and raise one knee so that it meets the opposing elbow (left knee to right elbow) and then lowering back down and doing the same thing with the other limbs (right knee to left elbow). Repeat back and forth on each side. This is great for burning calories and helps you to strengthen your abs (which is quite important to people who have just given birth).
Each of these exercises are doable while your baby is sleeping. Even if your only option is to do lots of shorter exercises during your day instead of doing a single, long workout it is far better to do that than not to work out at all. It isn’t hard to lose baby weight if that is what you want to do. Thankfully, each of these three exercises will help you get there–if you do them often enough.
