These heels are not popular in office and active trade. The reason is they limit The speed of movement and at the same time strain the legs in extended use.

Because of the design, the wearer need to practice walking in them and at the same time avoiding soft ground as this can cause falls and injuries.
Pumps with blocked or wedge heels are far more stable though they can range from low to high heel size. They are more content and work fine with soft grounds.
Pump shoes uppers are made of leather, canvas ( uncommon ) and more frequently patent leather. Patent leather has a glossy glossy finish which is better to clean and look after. A damp material and a little soap can remove mud from the shoe higher keeping up the glossy finish.
